Full Bloom started with a simple problem: Joe and I loved good coffee, and we wanted more of it here in Trinidad and Tobago. So we decided to do something about it.

I started learning to roast in 2016, with online resources, a coffee roasting course and plenty of practice with small batches. There was a lot to figure out. The goal was to understand the beans, bring out their flavours and make coffee that people here would enjoy.

That last part matters. We all have our own tastes, and customer feedback has taught me a lot about roasting for the people drinking our coffee. We want you to find something you love, whether you know exactly what you're looking for or you're trying something new.

The coffee bars grew from the same idea. We wanted a comfortable place to meet, sit for a while and have some proper ole talk. A place that feels familiar, with good coffee at the centre and people giving it its character.

Today you can find us at Sweet Briar in St Clair, Bagshot Box Park in Maraval and The Playground in Cocorite. Freshness, careful roasting, a friendly welcome and sharing what we learn are still what drive us.

That's what we mean by crafting the coffee culture of Trinidad and Tobago: more chances to enjoy a good cup, ask a question and make yourself at home.
